    @ Vamsee - the beautiful blue sky is one of the best things at Ladakh! :) If possible start a bit early this year before the season sets in - May end should be a good time to avoid the tourist rush. Take a comfortable long vacation and don't miss any of the places - Pangong, Tso Moriri and camping at one of these lakes, Nubra Valley and the two humped camels, Khardung La ofcourse and one day for all the colorful monasteries as well. Leh - Srinagar highway is also an awesome ride with varied landscapes. And you shall need permits to visit these places. Ask your hotel operator to arrange for those in advance. Have a great time there and happy new year.. :)

    I use a ultra zoom point and shoot for my captures. It is a 10x zoom camera with few adjustable settings. Model - Sony Cybershot DSC H10
